Language, Words, Wisdom, Philosophy....

Powerful stuff.... I have long wanted to post some things on my site that I really had no place for. I wanted to make a poetry corner, but how can you form a corner in this amorphous space we call the web?? It occurred to me that not all powerful words are poetry, some are quotes, some are little more than thoughts given sound.

As you know, I take the raw materials of language expose them to the fires of experience and forge them into a device that I pray causes you to think or feel. In this I consider myself a wordsmith. The quality of my words, wisdom and humor can only be measured in your heart and mind. If you enjoy my somewhat skewed perspectives on things, that is great, if you think I am full of.... stuff, you may be right. Quite often I agree with the later, but I know there is some of the former there as well.

The purpose of this section of my site is to simply share things I have read and have been moved by, whether it is poetry, prose, a quote or a profound story. Simply, it is a celebration of the power of the written word. I sincerely hope they mean something to you as they obviously have made me stop, think, reflect and share them with you.
